What does the correct order of the New Testament have to do with "this" generation?

The books/letters of the New Testament fit a perfect pattern when placed in the correct order. In fact, that perfect pattern fits perfectly with the chronology of "this" generation spoken of in Matthew 24. But, what is that pattern? Well, here it is: 5, 7, 14, 7.

That may not look like much. Nor does it look big and important. However, if this is a correct assessment, then what we have here is an outline of the final generation of mankind before the return of the Messiah. Let's see...

The 5 equates to the first five year cycle of the last generation.

The 7, equates to a seven year cycle, the 14 a fourteen year cycle, and the final 7 to the last seven years of prophecy.

Here is how the books/letters/epistles of the NT appear in this correct manuscript order. The present order given us by Jerome is totally in error and does not give us a proper perspective of these Greek books.

First 5:

Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts

Next 7:

James, I Peter, II Peter, I John, II John, III John, Jude

Next 14:

Romans, I Corinthians, II Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, I Thessalonians, II Thessalonians, Hebrews, I Timothy, II Timothy, Titus, Philemon

Final 7:

Revelation, the book of sevens, and the last seven years.

The Connection.

Let's take a single example of how these books, now in the correct order for properly understanding them, works with the chronology of "this" final generation.

The specific year 2018. In this year certain things are slated to happen which are extremely interesting. And, a good test to see how close we are to understanding the chronology of "this" generation. This involves the Temple.

Prior to 2018, it appears that some catastrophe or event will occur that will cause the impetus to build the Temple again in Jerusalem. And, this will not be just an Israeli project. It will include the backing of the Arab world, and others. The impetus for this return of the Temple to Jerusalem pivots around the year 2018. Here's why in some detail, although usually I only give the end result and let the other person find the details themselves. That way, if they discover it on their own, they can't say it is just my idea.

So, how do we get to the idea that 2018 has something to do with the Temple being rebuilt? Let's see. First, virtually everyone knows that the Temple is mentioned in prophecy as being in existence at the time of the return of the Messiah. But, how do we know it should be connected with the year 2018? Well...

Everyone knows that the book of Zechariah is a book of prophecy. Whether they believe it is real prophecy or not has nothing to do with the reality of the book. It is either prophecy or it is not. I believe it is. And, in that book it tells us clearly when the Temple will be returned. Let me say this first before proceeding. Three things are to be understood about this information at the moment.

1. The Temple will be in existence and usage in 2018, or 2. construction will begin on it, or... 3. some kind of agreement or impetus to build it will start in 2018.

At this time, it is not possible to be more specific, UNTIL a couple of other things occur to help us pinpoint which of the three is most likely. The question is, for now, though, "how do we arrive at 2018"?

It is in the book of Zechariah, and quite clear as to the event mentioned. Here is what Zechariah says:

"Then the angel of YHWH answered and said, O YHWH of hosts, HOW LONG wilt thou not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which thou hast had indignation these THREESCORE AND TEN years?"

Notice the verse is talking about Jerusalem and Judah during 70 years of INDIGNATION. Now, IF Zechariah is truly a prophecy book for our day, which it is, then when would the "indignation" have begun? Why, when Jerusalem and Judah are a nation again, starting in 1948. Judah and Jerusalem have been under attack [indignation] by her Arab neighbors ever since Israel (Judah) became a nation. And, 70 years added to 1948, brings us to the year 2018!

That is how 2018 is established, in spite of all the nonsense on the Internet about this year. Do a google search and you will see how prominent 2018 is to the writers of posts galore. And, all are guessing about why 2018. Well, I've given you the real Biblical reason right here.

With that information, then, WHAT is supposed to happen that year? Does the book tell us? Yes, it does, and we will go into that in part 2 of this post.
