Can Specific Years Be Pinpointed in Prophecy?

That's a good question. Until now it was impossible to do such a thing. However, we now have the basic chronology for our days, but the understanding of the chronology of our days is still being refined. Thus, when an event does happen that is expected, it helps us refine how things fit. For example, if we expect something to happen, or to begin to happen in 2018 we REFINE our understanding by adding the results into the "program" or "plan".

What I mean is this. Let's suppose we expect an event to occur in 2018. Now, IF it occurs exactly within that year, then the month and day will help us refine the chronology even better, clear to the month, and sometimes the day. However, IF the event occurs before or after 2018, then that information is added to or subtracted from the "program", and everything else gets adjusted. Finally, after enough benchmark events, we can become extremely accurate. That is, assuming we have the correct "program" to work with and on, in the first place.

With that in mind, let's look at what appears to be in the works for 2018 right now.

2018 -- and Beyond.

2018, is 70 years from the founding of the modern nation of Israel. By the way, as a general understanding, 50 years equates to a Jubilee year, or the year of "freedom", "liberty" or "release". A specific date, 50 years after the founding of Israel had extreme importance for our day, and for Israel and the world. But, that is for another post sometime later.

The "headline" book of Prophecy tells us that YHWH is to return to Jerusalem after 70 years of indignation. And, that at that time His House is to be built in Jerusalem. The last time YHWH resided in Jerusalem through the Shekinah was prior to 70 A.D. It appears the "headline" book is telling us that He will return via His Shekinah in 2018, or more accurately, just after that.. And, where will He reside? Of course, in His House or The Temple in Jerusalem, to be reconstructed on the Mount of Olives, overlooking the old Temple Mount. Remember, the prophecies say it will be built in the TOP of the mountains around Jerusalem, and the only one that is the TOP, or highest, is the Mt. of Olives.

With the above in mind, here is what is expected for the benchmark year, 2018.

1. It will be at the middle of the 14 year "expansion" cycle which begins in April, 2011.

2. It involves the RETURN of YHWH to Jerusalem in an active, but spiritual way.

3. The movement toward rebuilding the Temple in Jerusalem will be very strong.

4. Sometime during the year a "go ahead" for the Temple, in some form should be approved, if the Temple itself is not actually in existence by then.

5. The "indignation", or fighting and destruction between Israel and nations around her will stop.

6. Israel will begin to accept her Messiah for the first time en masse.

7. Though it may start with them, Israel will learn that sacrifices are not needed, and will stop their use, if begun at all. The Temple will be used in a different way this time. It will be used to teach all the nations, not just Israel.

Lots more is scheduled to happen before, during and after 2018. But, for now, we will wait for the next post to show why the sacrifices will not be used in Israel, and why she will accept her Messiah around that "benchmark" year.
