Moving Into a New Cycle

Often turmoil precedes major changes.

At times turmoil precedes a major event.

We are on the edge of a major change in this world. What is coming though, is not hidden to our eyes. Virtually every major event, or change, to occur in the next 21 years is revealed in the Bible. It is called "prophecy" by most. Yet, in reality, it is nothing more than the repeat of ancient history in a modern setting. Specifically, the repeat of events from the history of ancient Israel.

A great deal of that history occurred during the time of King David, and his son Solomon. It is the combination of events in those two kingdoms that are at present being repeated in our day. Plus, one other era. The difference being a change in participants. It only takes the memory of the old television and radio docu-dramas to understand. Those presentations always were preceded with the statement that "only the names have been changed." And, so it is today. Only the names have been changed.

Another ancient era that is being repeated, along with David and Solomon's, is the time of the Former Prophets. One being Judges. It is amazing what the Former Prophets tell us about our day.

For instance, in ancient history the fourth judge of Israel was Deborah. The name of the fourth "prime minister" of modern Israel was Golda Meir. Just remember this clue to understanding the connection. In the list of modern day prime ministers of Israel just drop out all the repeats of any one prime minister. Do that and you will see the parallel, and the repeat of ancient history.

Beginning this coming April, we will see more major changes in the structure of world power. As a matter of fact. In fact, the falling of the government in Lebanon is part of this process. As my wife likes to say on occassion, that date is a "line of demarcation". It is like the no return point on a flight to Europe from America. When one hits that point no matter the emergency, the plane MUST continue ahead. It cannot turn around.

When we hit that date, there will be no turning back. There will be no repenting of Assyria as in the book of Jonah. That date is the final "line of demarcation." From that point on, the full brunt of prophecy will hit, full force like a buzzsaw. That's what John the Apostle meant in the book of Revelation when he was inspired to write, "...which must come shortly." The word "shortly" here is the Greek word "takei". It is translated in different ways in various versions of the Bible. One such example is "quickness". It is the word used in our English tachometer. You know, it shows the speed of the revolutions of the car engine. So, what it really means in "modern slang" is, when it comes it will "hit like a high rev buzzsaw." The word has nothing to do with saying to the first century believers that this would happen "shortly", or in their lifetimes.

So, the "buzzsaw" is on the way. And, we have just around 21 years to see it in action.
