Prophecy is always intriguing!
Below I wish to show you part of a post to the Internet from me in 1998. At the time, the first step of giving the Gaza strip to the Palestinians had occurred. It was no surprise since I had been saying that on the Code Six Four TV show since 1991, maybe even back to 1989. Be that as it may, there was more to come, and my wife and I continued to tell our audience that the Gaza was going to go completely to the Palestinians. No one believed us at the time. And, all the prophetic prognosticators were saying that NO LAND would be given up by Israel. Well, now look at what has happened. Can you ignore what I said now? Sure you can. The human mind has a weakness. It won't believe in a Creator, nor that He communicates to us the future, and will not believe what it sees when it actually happens. What about you? Anyway, please read the quote below carefully. Then, I have a surprise for you at the end.
"Everyone wants to know the future. And, the Scriptures give us the ability to see into the future in a way that no medium, dreamer or "prophet" can. Yet, the understanding of prophecy is not necessary for one to gain salvation. However, the "Bible" student will often study prophecy before he or she studies any other topic from the Scriptures. Prophecy is fascinating, exciting and mysterious. All of the ingredients of a good mystery resides within prophecy. Yet, the average person scoffs at "Bible" prophecy. Even so, he or she stands in awe of "dreamers", "dreams" ,"visions" and ramblings of astrologers, seers, self-appointed prophets and the like. The world loves "fortune telling" but, don't dare speak of "Bible Prophecy". There is an interesting reaction the world has to prophecies that come from the Scriptures.
1. Before they come to pass, the world says they are impossible, are myths and ramblings of fools.
2. While the prophecies are actually being fulfilled, they say that it is just a coincidence. Finally,
3. After the prophecy is over they say it was "just a lucky guess". What an EASY way to deny their Creator. The human mind just never seems to get the message. Perhaps, now, some of them will get the message. For, we have visual proof that prophecy from the Bible is accurate, exact and ON TIME!
Over the centuries the world has challenged anyone to prove any prophecy from the Bible to be true. Or, as one viewer wrote me: "Set a date, give a prophecy, and if it comes true I will give you $20,000." Well, I did just that, now this viewer is suddenly nowhere to be found. Strange?
On Code SIX FOUR, the LIVE television program we did here in Tucson, on February 4, 1995, we showed the audience what was considered IMPOSSIBLE! We showed them clips from old tapes of former programs, which they had seen themselves when we actually did them, where we gave SPECIFIC prophecies about modern day Israel. AND, WE GAVE THEM THE TIME FRAME! We said these prophecies would happen within 2-3 years, and even indicated the time of the year they would come to pass. We told them to watch the first month of the Scripture New Year. This is usually September. Well...
HELLO!
SURPRISE!
Wake UP!
IT HAPPENED!!
Two years after giving those prophecies, TO THE MONTH, the EXACT PROPHECY CAME TRUE. And, guess what? You saw it happen on national and international TV right in your own living rooms! Remember the scene on the White House lawn?
We had shown the audience on maps, the actual area where the prophecy came true. The land to be given to the Palestinians! Now, how specific can one get? We gave THE TIME, THE PLACE and THE PLAYERS. This came NOT from dreams, visions, astrology or fortune telling. It came simply from understanding and believing the Scriptures. Do you know anyone else who has done such a thing before, just from the Scriptures? And, did it in front of a live audience ON TAPE for the world to be able to verify?
What are the ODDS of someone doing this just ONE time?
How often have people said, "Show me and I'll believe."? Well, whatever the odds, WE SHOWED THEM, we DID IT! And, they didn't believe. What about you? Would you believe if shown?"
Well, the above was written to our Internet discussion list for those who help with this effort. That was posted on May 16, 1998 at 12:47 a.m. Yet, there was more to come, as all of you now know.
