The GREAT Non-religion RELIGION -- Who Knew?
When does non-religion become religion? Simple. When it is a religion in fact, and a non-religion by deception.
Some of the greatest self-deceivers are the humanists. They are the folks in many cases who are your local atheist, evolutionist, educator, scientist, government official who profess to the high "heavens", [pardon my reference to a "spiritual" place] they are religion free, but are in fact, cultists and religionists in disguise. A disguise so well developed that they can't even see what they are themselves. They believe they are the exact opposite of what they are -- religious, and "church" members.
First, as a side point, the word "church" is an interesting word. It's ancient etymon comes from "kirke", "circe", which means, in essence, "a three-ringed CIRCus." Not only that, the Koine Greek word which is translated as "church" just means a group of people. So, in reality, humanists are a "church" with religious beliefs, and they do, in spite of all their shouts to the contrary have a supreme being they worship.
Now, let's see what they say, versus what is the reality they do not want you to know about.
"Humanists feel that there are evolving and fascinating explanations for the questions asked through the ages. [Since when is "feeling" a proof of anything, other than that you have a feeling?] They do not need to turn to the supernatural for answers to such questions. [Is that so? We'll see.] They feel at home in the natural world and do not need gods or a god, a heaven, or scriptures. [Really now? Is that a fact, or a lie?] Moreover, they feel that humans do not need the promise of a heaven after death to be just and kind to others, to feel loyalty to the whole human race and the environment. [Bible believers believe the same. The Book teaches we should do these and more for others without worrying about reward. But, humanists don't know this. They can't read and understand the Book, you know.] They respect scientific methods and the knowledge coming from the use of them. [Some of the world's greatest were and are Bible believers and also respect scientific methods.] They are concerned with making use of this knowledge for the care of this marvelous planet. [This is different from most other humans??]"
"Humanists are content with fixing their attention on this life. Theirs is a point of view, philosophy, or religion without a god, a heaven, divine revelation, sacred scriptures or authoritarian spiritual leaders. [Are you sure?] Yet theirs is an overarching view rich in feeling and understanding, which is sensitive to the sorrows and joys, tragedies and triumphs, touching every fiber of human life. They experience wholesome humility as they venture forward with fellow humans into the as-yet-unknown."
Doesn't the above sound "different"? Haven't they ever read any writings of modern and/or ancient "religious" peoples? Why, if they would, they would find the same basic outline of "feelings" above. With one major difference. Unlike the deceived humanists who "...venture forward... into the as-yet-unknown.", the others know what is ahead. It isn't unknown to them.
Humanists teach that there are two ways, or "opposing moods": the one for self-determination; the other against it. Obviously, one of these "moods" is "religion", the other is "...the humanistic hope 'involving the triumphant apotheosis of man, the creator and builder.' "
Two of the heros of humanism, and "pioneers" are Rousseau and Voltaire. "The eighteenth century democrats, Rousseau and VOLTAIRE, believed in liberty. They felt that only where people are free are they able to become all they might be."
Interesting, eh? Isn't it "the truth will make you free?", not Rousseau and Voltaire? Be that as it may, these two heros are not all that the humanists claim them to be. Let's take Voltaire for example. He is a major source for all that is humanism.
"Everyone knows that philosophical ideas, notably those of Rousseau and Voltaire were part of the ferment that led to the French Revolution. Still, it is hard to explain why an overtly religious ritual - such as the Isis ceremony described above - should have received official sponsorship from the revolutionary government as early as 1793. That it did so, moreover, on a site so powerfully symbolic as the Place de la Bastille raises an interesting question. Is it possible that spiritual and even 'religious' beliefs could have played a greater role than has hitherto been recognized in precipitating and sustaining the changes that gripped France after 1789?"
What? Could this actually be true? "Religious" beliefs actually playing a greater role in this humanist revolution in France? Why, yes it did. And, the great "humanist" Voltaire, whom the humanists love to quote and copy has a surprise for the modern day humanist. By the way, the Scriptures call a person who claims there is no Spiritual Creator a "fool". So, these humanists who deny such a being are actually following such a being. A woman, in fact. Let's see:
"Like the humanists of the Renaissance, the men of the Enlightenment pushed aside the Christian times. In VOLTAIRE's home in Ferney the picture he hung (in such a way on the wall at the foot of his bed that it was the first thing he saw each day) was a PAINTING OF THE GODDESS DIANA [One of the many names of Isis.] with a small new crescent moon on her head and a very large one under her feet. SHE IS REACHING DOWN TO HELP MEN." [No god(ess), eh? in humanism, or for the atheist, etc.???]
And, now, remember how "non-violent" and humble the humanists profess themselves to be? Well, are they any different from the "religious" folks they accuse? I don't think so. See this:
"How quickly all the humanist ideals came to grief! In September 1792 began the MASSACRE in which some 1,300 prisoners were killed. Before it was all over, the government and its agents killed 40,000 people, many of them peasants. Maximilien Robespierre (1758-1794), the revolutionary leader, was himself executed in July 1794. This destruction came not from outside the system; it was produced by the system. As in the later Russian Revolution the revolutionaries on their humanist base had only two options -- anarchy or repression."
Think the humanists are any better than others? Think their "philosophy/religion" is great? It just isn't so. Deception and self-deception is alive and well on planet earth.
Oh, remember "circe"? Circe is the Greek goddess the world worships under many names. And, she is the "goddess" the Apostle John mentioned in the book he was given in the first century. You know, "Mystery Babylon, MOTHER of Harlots".
HUMANISM -- Ignorance, Farce or Hoax? YES.
